Will Ferrell rose to fame for his role as a character on "Saturday Night Live," before appearing on such major-screen comedy films as 'Elf"Anchorman," and 'Talladega Nights.' Born in 1967 in Irvine, California, Will Ferrell began his career in comedy as an actor with the improv group from Los Angeles known as the Groundlings.
