Emma Stone
Emily Jean "Emma" Stone was
born on the 6th of November in 1988 in Scottsdale, Arizona to Krista Jean Stone
(nee Yeager), a homemaker , and Jeffrey Charles "Jeff" Stone, a
founder of a contracting firm and CEO. She is of Swedish and British Isles heritage.
Stone began acting in her early years as a participant in the Valley Youth
Theatre in Phoenix, Arizona, where she made her stage debut in an adaptation of
Kenneth Grahame's "The Wind in the Willows". In her teens Stone was
part of many productions before she made the decision to pursue acting as a
profession. According to the official report, she presented a PowerPoint slide
show that was supported by the Madonna's Hollywood and was dubbed "Project
Hollywood" in an attempt to convince her parents and let her to drop out
of school and relocate to Los Angeles. After the presentation was accepted she
and her mother moved to LA. She continued to study at home, and also
auditioned. Her TV debut came when she was cast as Laurie Partridge on the VH1
reality show In Search of the Partridge Family (2004). The show led to a
variety of minor TV parts over the years. After a string success acting roles,
her character Olive in Easy A (2010) was her movie debut. She attended Xavier
College Preparatory, Phoenix, Arizona. While she is a redhead, her natural hair
color her hair is blonde. It was Judd Apatow who suggested she change her hair
color in Superbad (2007) and she liked it so much that she decided to keep it.
When she was 15, she persuaded her parents to allow her to move to Hollywood by
creating an PowerPoint presentation that was appropriately titled Project
Hollywood. She began acting at 11 years old, at Phoenix's Valley Youth Theatre.
Here she appeared on 16 stages. She also took part in the theatre's comedy
improv group. Caylee Cowan also performed at the Valley Youth Theatre.
