Alison Doody

Alison Doody is an Irish actor and model. Born on 11th November, 1966. Her debut in a feature film was in a minor role on the Bond film A View to a Kill. (1985). Then, later she played the Nazi-sympathising archaeologist Elsa Schneider (Indiana Jones and in the Last Crusade 1989). Siobhan in A Prayer for the Dying, Charlotte in Taffin and Rebecca Flannery Major League II. Doody began her modeling career after she was approached by a aspiring photographer. She has since evolved into commercial modelling. Doody tried to stay clear of glamorous and sexy roles, which was a principle she incorporated into her acting. Doody was offered a tiny role as Jenny Flex for 1985's A View to a Kill following the fact that her name was picked by the casting director. Doody was listed in John Willis Screen World's Vol. 3. Doody played Sapsorrow in an episode of Jim Henson's fable show The Storyteller, opposite John Hurt Dawn French Jennifer Saunders. The first time she appeared was in the movie Taffin with Pierce Brosnan. Next, she portrayed Dr. Elsa Schneider as an Austrian archaeologist, Nazi-sympathizer, and antagonist to Harrison Ford. Doody has been in three films with James Bond actors. Doody was a co-star in the year 1991 alongside Jonathan Pryce opposite the British miniseries Selling Hitler, which was inspired by the publication fraud called the Hitler Diaries. The actress later relocated to Hollywood. She was chosen to replace Cybill Shepard in the role of L'Oreal spokeswoman. She went on to star opposite Charlie Sheen as Flannery, his agent and girlfriend in Major League II. Doody, who had been off acting for more than 10 years, came back in 2003 for a minor part in the British comedy The Actors in which Michael Caine appeared as her in a scene during an award ceremony. Her roles include the TV film version of King Solomon's Mines in 2004 as well as a booklet on the Holocaust and a short film called Benjamin's Struggle in 2005.
